The ARP 247-4207 Custom Age 625+ 4BT and 4BTA 3.9L Cummins Diesel Main Stud Kit for the 1984 to 2001 model Cummins 3.9L diesel engines. The 1984 to 1998 Cummins 3.9L 4BT engines have eight valves and power ratings of 105 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. These 4BT 3.9L Cummins engines are equipped with the P7100 / P-Pump mechanical fuel injection pump, often referred to as the P-pump engine. The Cummins 3.9L 4BTA Engines have sixteen valves, 170 horsepower and 420lb-ft of torque. The 4BTA 3.9L Cummins engines are equipped with the electric VP fuel injection pump. The 3.9L Cummins engine features plenty of parts commonality with the 5.9L Cummins diesel. These diesel engines offer you the ability to increase the engine's power out put levels very quickly. By increasing the power output of a 3.9L Cummins, you will need to install headstuds to keep the cylinder head in place.
