FASS Sump / Suction Tube Kit STK-5500

The FASS Sump with Integrated Suction Tube Kit is the most advanced and efficient way of getting fuel from your tank to your diesel fuel pump. FASS Fuel Systems has now introduced the latest version of the Fuel Sump. Known as the FASS STK-5500 Sump Suction Tube Kit, it does not have an external fuel line to come loose or break off.The STK-5500 is an upgrade of proven suction tube kits that designed for use with a Fuel Pump or Fuel Air Separation System.

Like most diesel fuel sumps on the market, the STK-5500 Sump Kit can pull fuel from the outside of the sump through a pre-tapped 1/2" fuel port. The STK-5500 kit resolves the issue of catching a fuel line or having it become disconnected from the fuel sump due to its flexibility of having an internal or external draw.  To fix this issue we decided that we would also offer a way to pull fuel from the inside of the tank using our Bulkhead fitting and Suction Tube Kit, effectively eliminating this possibility.

FASS is proud to release their sump/suction tube kit that takes the best of BOTH worlds!  First of all, this utilizes FASS' proprietary head unit design for drawing and returning fuel out of the tank. What makes this design so unique is the way that fuel returned to the reservoir, it shoots the fuel at an angle, avoiding the lower bowl to prevent the fuel getting mixed around.  Next, this head unit attached to FASS' pick up assembly that connects into a sump system that mounts to the bottom of the tank, drawing fuel from the lowest possible point.  This sump can also be used as a traditional sump to draw fuel from the bottom of the tank and run along the base of the fuel tank.

Sump Kits are not anything new, however here at FASS Fuel Systems, we wanted to find a to improve existing Sumps so they can be used by everyday drivers in combination with our Titanium Series diesel lift pumps. Sump Kits lower the suction point and gather all your tanks fuel to one central location to maximize the usage of available fuel. This package includes both our “No Drop” Sump Kit and Bulkhead Suction Tube Kit that will keep all components inside the fuel tank and draw from inside the sump bowl with no external fuel lines.

Our “No Drop” Sump kits are designed to install without having to remove your factory fuel tank; the unique design makes installation quick and simple for even beginner mechanics. As with all sumps, we designed ours with a ½” fuel line port on the outside wall to decrease installation difficulty of our FASS fuel pump product line. When combined with our Bulkhead Suction Tube Kit, fuel can be drawn from inside the tank; both methods can help eliminate the dreaded ¼ issue that is known to haunt Dodge Cummins Owners

The FASS Fuel Systems Bulkhead Fitting is machined from 6061 T-6 Billet Aluminum and ⅝” Convoluted Suction Tube are designed to function as both a suction point and a fuel return port for your FASS Titanium Series lift pump. The convoluted tube is intended to pull fuel from inside the factory fuel module or sump bowl.
